Joe Scarborough of MSNBC faced a viral clip of his who considered former President Joe Biden “Biden Best” in March 2024 on Tuesday, standing close to his former president, citing his personal interactions with him.
Speaking to Mark Halper during his show, “The Next with Mark Halper”, Scarborough observed the clip of himself, where he argued that the former president was “far beyond Cogent”.
“I’ve said for years, he is loved. But I underline him when I said he was harsh, he is very beyond the cogent. In fact, I think he is better than he has ever been, intellectually, analytically, because he has been about 50 years,” Scarborough said during March 2024 “Morning Joe” broadcast. “Start your tape now because I’m ready to tell you the truth. And F-you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best biden ever.”
After pointing out that Biden had good days and bad days, Halper asked Scarbrough, “seeing him again, did you say well, was it deceitful to say” the best biden ever “without noticing it and saying, except when he is not the best biden ever?”
Scarborough insisted he never saw bad days in person. Earlier in the conversation, Scarborough detailed numerous meetings he had with Biden, during which the MSNBC host argued that Biden had a better “analysis” of the situation, regarding Ukraine and Russia than heard by most people.
Halper pushed him again and said Scarborough, “Well, you did! You did it because you saw him turn to a dead congressman and saw him in South Carolina.”
Halperin argued that he could show Scarborough some clips of the days when the former president was not the best biden ever and Scarborough directed the conversation to Trump.
Scarborough argued, “He stumbled and tried around, Mark. I mean, yes, he certainly did. Donald Trump did, other politicians did, and this is actually the same case as I entered Donald Trump. If Donald Trump is losing it, as people have said over the years or not. “
“And so again, will I watch a clip that has gone viral and will pay more attention to that two and a half, three hours I had a one-in-one guy going around the world? No, I just won’t go,” Msnbc’s host said. “Are some of the bad clips? Yes, they are probably bad.”
“Put it in the right context, I just won’t take out and melt in one or two clips here and there,” added “Morning Joe”. “And again he slammed around and he stumbled, but he has for some time. That didn’t seem to me to take Joe Biden’s way by being able to analyze the most important issues.”
Scarborough went after former special adviser Robert Hur in February 2024 on his report to former president regarding the investigation of classified documents he showed Biden fighting with the main memories, including when his son Beau died when he left the vice president and why he was in possession of classified documents that there should be no.
“I just say this guy says such a casual s!” Scarborough said at the time, apologizing to apologize for his report.
“Do he hoped he will receive a judgment? I think he does. I think he hopes he gets a judgment if Donald Trump is resolved again because he is trying because he humiliated himself with that show,” Scarborough added.
The Hur-Biden interview audio was released on Friday, and CNN’s Abby Phillip suggested that Hur underlined the extent of Biden’s mistakes during the interview.
