NBC host “Night Night” Seth Meyers interviewed Hollywood star George Clooney on Monday, but failed to question the actor about the report that former President Joe Biden failed to recognize the actor of List A in collecting his 2024 campaign funds or any of the former president.
Just weeks after CNN Jake Tapper host and journalist Axios Alex Thompson revealed in their book “The Original Sin” Biden allegedly failed to recognize the Clooney backstage in a June fund, Meyers chose not to ask the actor about the incident – or even mentioned the former President.
Approximately one month after the reported incident, Clooney wrote an guest essay in the New York Times calling for Biden to be replaced as a democratic nominee because of his mental decline.
Instead of questioning the Hollywood star about the reported fund incident, Meyers focused the interview on Clooney’s acting career and his latest tony Award’s nomination for his “good night and good luck”.
His leaving Biden was first marked by the Media.
Despite all the attention “Original Sin” has generated, liberal comedians Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert have not mentioned any of the discoveries, according to transcripts being robbed.
The three hosts were all strong supporters of the Biden Presidency, and Kimmel and Colbert helped the funds last year.
Liberal hosts have welcomed everyone for friendly interviews, the last time he is on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in February 2024, just days after the release of the Hur report.
Meyers gently implored the theme of the age of Biden before moving quickly to other topics.
Special adviser Robert Hur, who conducted an investigation into the misuse of Biden’s classified documents, wrote in his report that he refused to bring accusations against the former president in part because a jury was likely not to find him guilty because of a perception that he was a “charming, good man with a poor memory”.
Meyers called the comments of Hur a “free hypothetical” and stressed that Hur was a “Republican lawyer” who was originally named by Trump “.
“If this type of language was appropriate in a legal finding, then prosecutors could have done the same for Trump,” Meyers said before constantly drawing attention to President Donald Trump’s mental sharpness.
Fox News’ Joseph Wulfsohn contributed to this report.
